Carol A. Ryerson, 98, of Indianapolis went to be with the Lord August 28, 2018. She was born in Houston, Texas on October 19, 1919 to Carroll J. and Myrtle (Hine) Sherman. A Hoosier from the age of seven, Carol graduated from Butler University in 1941 with a degree in Home Economics. She then spent a year teaching school prior to marrying Max Ryerson in 1942. They were married for 72 years before his death. Faith, home and family were always exceedingly important to her. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Nina and her husband, Max. She is survived by her children William (Marilyn) Ryerson, Lynn (James) Perske and Charles (Kathleen) Ryerson. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and a niece. Most of all Carol will be remembered as the loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who always shared Christ’s redeeming love and the power of prayer with loved ones and strangers alike. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held Saturday, September 22nd, at Radiant Life Christian Church, 16162 Carey Rd., Westfield, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m.

My sincere condolences to the Ryerson family. So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the Bible’s hope for the future. John 5:28,29 says, “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones. I know you yearn to be with the ones you love again, and Almighty God Jehovah yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. (Job 14:14,15)
